Ben graduated from Texas Tech in 2010 with a major in Business Management. He began his career selling life insurance before becoming an independent residential real estate investor focusing primarily in Lubbock while also managing a cow-calf operation covering 30,000 acres in West Texas and in the Panhandle. Growing up in West Texas has allowed Ben to see the benefits of buying and selling mineral interests, and he began working for Desert in the summer of 2018. Ben’s background caters to the large land and minerals owners – he enjoys making conversation with mineral owners and determining if Desert could be a way to enhance their current position. Ben enjoys playing golf and going to Texas Tech football and basketball games with his wife Brittany and his son Arliss.
