Seth Burt serves as the General Counsel for Desert Royalty Company. Seth began his career as an attorney at Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP, where he advised public and private mineral owners, working interest owners, and landowners on various transactional and litigation matters. While in private practice, Seth negotiated, drafted, and assisted in closing oil and gas acquisitions and divestitures with an aggregate value of over $3.5 billion. Upon graduating summa cum laude from Baylor Law School, Seth and his wife Brooke moved to Fort Worth where they currently reside and have three young daughters.
